Pax Penning

A strategic board game for 3-5 players which take place in an early phase of Sweden nation building. The first Christian king of Swedes, Olof Skötkonung, seeks to strengthen his hold in the Eastern part of his kingdom. Here he is weak and doesn't have the legal right to collect taxes. 

His plan is to start using the invention currency that has worked so well in the Danelaw. British coinmasters will make him the currency which will show everyone how powerful and strong he is.

Step into the shoes of chieftains, landowners and wealthy peasants and take part in the Swedish nation building - or do not. This game gives a glimpse into an 11th century society that used currency in a very different way.
